1. Verify the material claim
“Sterling silver” is not the same thing as silver-plated jewelry. Ask what alloy is used, whether pieces are stamped, what plating is applied, and what documentation is available. Read our sterling silver vs silver plated guide.
2. Sample before scaling
Inspect finish consistency, clasps, stone setting, dimensions, weight, packaging and how products look after normal handling. A small test order is information, not merely inventory.
3. Model the landed cost
Unit price is only one input. Include shipping, duties/taxes, insurance, payment fees, packaging, defects and fulfillment labor.
4. Understand the MOQ
Ask whether the minimum applies per design, color, size, customization or total order. See the MOQ guide.
