Confirm legal/business identity, material specifications, sample availability, QC process, lead times, shipping terms, payment methods, return/defect handling and repeat-production capability. For custom work, document design ownership and revision expectations.
Red flags
Be cautious when material language is vague, sample specifications do not match production promises, lead times are undefined, or the supplier cannot explain what happens when a SKU is unavailable.
One supplier worth researching
